Niagara women’s club drawing on Saturday

NIAGARA, Wis. – The Niagara Women’s Civic Club is sponsoring another summer prize drawing, organizers said.

Prizes include a 40-caliber handgun with CCW course included, iPad mini, Timberstone Golf Course passes with an overnight stay at the Pine Mountain Lodge, gas grill, 32-inch flat screen television, gift basket worth $300, and a gift basket worth $140.

Tickets are $5 each or $10 for three. They can be purchased from club members and at Forward Financial Credit Union locations, the First National Bank of Niagara, Best Buy Liquor, Scotty’s Muffler, and 93 Rock.

This year’s drawing will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 7 p.m. at the North Star Bar in Niagara.

“Members are very excited about the drawing and are hoping to be able to give back (pay it forward) to the community with the additional proceeds collected,” said club members.

Individuals and businesses that donated are Fritz Rouse, AIM Demolition, Nowicki Chiropractic, Forward Financial Credit Union, the First National Bank of Niagara, Bullseyes to Bad Guys, Badger Automotive, Breeze Automotive, Timberstone Golf Course, Pine Mountain Lodge, Famer’s Restaurant, Off the Wall Video, Econo Foods, Dairy Queen, 93 Rock, Niagara Car Wash, Chambers Travel Agency, Tri-City Cinema 8, and Nicki Garvaglia-IT Works consultant.

The Niagara Women’s Civic Club has been in existence since 1929. It is a non-profit organization that gives back to the community by offering scholarships and sponsoring family-based events such as the annual Niagara Easter Egg Hunt, Niagara High School senior recognition dinner, and Niagara’s Music in the Park.

The club meets once a month, September through May. Dues are $10 per year.
