Armed robbery reported in IM

IRON MOUNTAIN – An Iron Mountain man sustained non life-threatening injuries during an armed robbery/home invasion at his home early this morning.

The incident occurred at about 12:30 a.m. on the 200 block of West Brown Street.

Iron Mountain Police Chief Pete Flaminio said that the male resident was home alone when three male subjects dressed in all black broke into his residence and robbed him at knife point.

The subjects took the man’s medical marijuana and cash, Flaminio added.

While attempting to resist the subjects, the man suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Flaminio said that the investigation into the incident is ongoing, and that anyone with information should contact the Iron Mountain Police Department at 774-1234.
