Iron River man faces CSC charge

CRYSTAL FALLS – An Iron River man has been charged with criminal sexual conduct for allegedly having sexual contact with an underage victim.
Robert Kenneth Streckert, 35, was arraigned in Iron County Trial Court on three felony counts of criminal sexual conduct-first degree.
Each count carries a maximum penalty of life in prison.
According to the criminal complaint in the case, Streckert is accused of having sexual contact with a female victim between the ages of 13 and 15.
The incidents occurred between 2010 and June 2013 in Iron River.
Streckert is due back in court for a preliminary examination on Aug. 5.
He is currently being held on a $100,000 cash bond.
