ANN ARBOR – Alice Joan Engibous, 80, of Ann Arbor, died March 25, 2013.
She was born in Norway on Aug. 8, 1932, the daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn (McCrae) Engibous.
Alice graduated from Norway High School in 1950 as the valedictorian, and graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Minnesota in 1953.
She lived most of her life in the Ann Arbor area.
Alice is survived by her sisters, Mary Couch of Iron Mountain and Margaret Pellegrini of Norway; brother, Jim (Emma) Engibous of Dallas and David (Jean) Engibous of Philadelphia, Ohio; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, John and William Engibous; and sister, Katheryn Ellingson.
Family will greet friends on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Ortman Funeral Home in Norway.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ortman Funeral Home, with Fr. Timothy Ekaitis presiding.
Interment will follow at the Norway Township Cemetery.
