GREEN BAY, Wis. – Frances E. Forst, 95, a Green Bay resident, died Tuesday morning, June 25, 2013. She was born March 7, 1918, in the town of Felch to the late Sidney and Hildur (Dixon) Leeman. Fran relocated to Green Bay at the age of 19 to attend the Badger Business College and lived with family friends, Jack and Emma Henry.
On Aug. 31, 1940, she married Emil Forst. She was employed as a legal secretary for the late Earl Jacobs in his law office. Fran had a love for flower gardens, bridge, dancing and trips to Shawano Lake. She was a dedicated member of Trinity Lutheran Church the entire time she lived in Green Bay.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda (Norbert) Thomas; two grandchildren, Melissa (John) Christensen and Matthew Johnvin; three step-grandchildren, Kim (Tom) Charlier, Chris (Ruth) Thomas, and Mary (Rich) Frank; and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emil; and her daughter, Carole.
Visitation will be Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 330 South Broadway in Green Bay from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Funeral service will follow Saturday at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Ken Schlueter officiating.
Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
