Aurora man charged in knife incident

FLORENCE, Wis. – An Aurora, Wis. man is facing a felony charge in Florence County Court for an alleged assault incident that occurred over the weekend.
Lee Anthony Franck, 51, faces one felony count of reckless endangerment-second degree, one misdemeanor count of endangering safety with a dangerous weapon, and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct.
If convicted, Franck could spend up to 10 years in prison.
According to court documents, the charges stem from an incident that occurred on June 22 in Aurora.
Florence County District Attorney Douglas Drexler said that Franck is accused of threatening a family member with a knife while engaged in an argument.
Franck was scheduled for an initial appearance in court on Tuesday.
In other Florence County Court action:
– Kristen Ann Nelson, 33, of Florence faces one felony count of possession of narcotic drugs and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
If convicted, Nelson could spend up to three and a half years in prison.
According to court documents, Nelson allegedly possessed morphine without a valid prescription, a spoon, and syringes on June 10 in Florence.
Nelson is scheduled for an initial appearance in court on July 2.
