Name released in flea market assault

IRON MOUNTAIN – Authorities have released the name of the suspect arrested after a report of a knife assault at a flea market near Iron Mountain’s east City Limits on Saturday.

Clifford Lemanski, no age or hometown listed, was arraigned and charged with carrying a concealed weapon and assault with a dangerous weapon, according to officials from the Dickinson County Prosecuting Attorney Office.

His next court date has not been set yet.

Lemanski faces the charges after troopers from the Iron Mountain Post were called to a reported assault between two male subjects at the flea market.

Investigation determined that one person assaulted the other with a knife.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Dickinson County Jail.
