HAMILTON LAKES – John “Jack” Bronzyk, 80, of Hamilton Lakes, died Monday, June 3, 2013, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, Wis.
He was born on Aug. 22, 1932, in Norway, the son of the late John and Adeline (DeBernardi) Bronczyk.
Jack graduated from Norway High School in 1950, and served his country in the National Guard.
He married Mary Ann Grade on Sept. 27, 1952, in Menasha, Wis.
Jack and Mary Ann owned and operated Deluxe Dry Cleaning in Norway, he then went into the construction trades, worked for Norway Gravure and Hometowne Building Supply.
He was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church in Vulcan, Oakcrest Golf Course, and a former member of Loyal Order of Moose 1474 in Norway.
Party Jack loved hunting, fishing and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Jack is survived by his wife Mary Ann; sons Mike (Carol) Bronzyk of Quinnesec and Joe (Patti) Bronzyk of Iron Mountain; daughter Kathy (Dave) Lovato of Dunbar, Wis.; grandchildren Nick Bronzyk, Kristin Solis, Randi and April Luthardt, Alexa Bronzyk, Dane Bronzyk, Thomas and Paige Whaley, Melanie Lovato, Misty (Josh) Giese, and Shelly (Steve) LaBonte; great-grandchildren, Rhylin Horton and Avlyn Solis, Brent and Zoe LaBonte; brother Jim (Rose) Bronczyk of Dollar Bay, brother-in-law, Louis Pellegrini of Norway; sisters-in-law, Shirley Grade, Jean Grade and Marge Verkuilen; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Pellegrini and brothers-in-law, John and Tom Grade and Ed Verkuilen.
Family will greet friends on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ortman Funeral Home in Norway.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 10, at 10 a.m. at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Vulcan with Fr. Timothy Ekaitis presiding.
Interment will be held at Norway Township Cemetery at a later date.
