MINNEAPOLIS – Dolores Ann (Peterson) Hynds died on May 13, 2013, in Minneapolis.
Dolores was born June 27, 1935, in Norway to Lawrence E. “Hap” and Theresa M. “Tressa” Peterson.
She graduated from Norway High School and the St. Francis School of Nursing in Evanston, Ill.
On April 27, 1957, she married Richard Hynds at St. Mary’s Church in Norway. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; and a nephew, John Peterson.
Dolores is survived by her children, Mike of Minnetonka, Minn., Dan of Rockport, Texas, and Monica of St. Paul, Minn.; and her grandchildren, Henry and Alex Hitchler of St. Paul.
Also surviving are brothers, Glenn (Pat) of Norway, and Bert (Donna) of Kingsford; nephews, Roger (Rhonda) of Vulcan, Chris of Kampala, Uganda, and Andrew of Norway; and two great-nephews, Angelo and Julio of Vulcan.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores Ann Hynds was held May 16, 2013 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Minnetonka.
Burial was at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
