Hawaiian dance Friday at Iron Mountain Senior Center
IRON MOUNTAIN – The Iron Mountain Senior Center is hosting a dance on Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. This will be the Center’s annual Hawaiian dance.
The Bill Hassey band will be the entertainment for the evening and will be adding Hawaiian numbers to their repertoire for the evening.
Members include Bill Hassey, accordion and piano; Karen Hassey, bass guitar and keyboard; John Pitlik, lead guitar; Junior Ludwig, trumpet; Skip Wagner, accordion, trumpet and saxophone, and Rick Deak, drums. All members provide vocals.
“This is a very lively and entertaining group of musicians,” said a spokesperson.
Admission is $8. Costumes are optional.
“We are encouraging everying to come out for this fun night where most of the dancers come in their colorful Hawaiian shirts and skirts,” she adds.
Persons are welcome to bring beverages of their choice. All ages are welcome.
The center is located at 700 Crystal Lake Boulevard in Iron Mountain.
