Explore Wisconsin trails

Along with the annual free fishing, camping and parks admission on the first weekend in June, Wisconsin has added a registration free weekend for ATV’s and UTV’s.

Out of state riders will not need a non-resident trail pass for June 1 and June 2. This promotion is intended to encourage new riders to explore Wisconsin trails and experience the fun of a family orientated outdoor adventure. Additionally, Wisconsin residents who own the machines but do not have them registered for public use (such as farmers) will be able to use their machines on the trails without first obtaining a current registration for the TWO-day period.

The Dun-Good Riders invite visitors to ride the extensive off road trail system in northern Marinette County.

There is a free park and ride located in Dunbar, Wis., south of Highway 8 in Dunbar. The club building will be open on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. to welcome visitors.

Club members will hand out “goody bags” with maps, tourism guides and discount coupons redeemable at area business sponsors. Dealers will be on hand to demo new models and the latest in accessories.

The club will treat visitors to free hot dogs and soda. Club members will answer your trail questions and provide short guided trail tours (longer rides available upon request).

There are over 200 miles of funded ATV/UTV trails in Marinette County.

The Dun-Good Riders maintain an extensive off-road trail system in the Dunbar-Goodman, Wis., area. Our winding, wooded trails are groomed weekly, summer and winter, snow and dirt.

We invite new riders to come join us June 1 and June 2 to find out why people tell us they love to ride the Dun-Good trails. For club news, updates and business sponsors, please visit, find us on Facebook or email us at

All riders should review safety tips and know the safe, legal and ethical operation of ATV’s and UTV’s to enjoy the trails.

Please ride only on designated trails or routes. A safety education certification is required for all ATV and UTV operators born on or after Jan. 1, 1988. Always wear an approved helmet and do not drink and drive. More information can be found at, key word “ATV.”
