IRON MOUNTAIN – Multi-talented Kingsford High School senior Carlee Benzie took home several trophies from the Flivvers Athletic Booster Club 2012 Senior Sports Banquet Monday evening at Pine Grove Country Club.
Benzie, an All-U.P. first team selection for basketball, was chosen as Kingsford’s Hometown Lumber Athlete Award winner and also took team MVP recognition in volleyball, basketball and track and field.
Sean Ryan, a football, hockey and tennis player, and Andrea Roell, a volleyball, basketball and track standout, were named recipients of the prestigious Scholar Athlete Award.
