Flivvers rolling

IRON RIVER – Kingsford remained unblemished on the boys tennis season, rolling by West Iron County 8-0 here Wednesday evening.

“Just a gorgeous night of tennis,” Flivvers coach Mark Shanks said. “This can sometimes be a difficult place to get a win, but our guys adjusted and responded well, caught them a little off guard maybe. We made some potential close matches not so close, but we’ll see them again and next time could be a different story.

“It was just a good solid night of tennis. A good team effort.”

The Flivvers (6-0) host Marquette this afternoon.
