Mary Kay Bodi
STURTEVANT, Wis. – Mary Kay (Finnegan) Bodi, 66, passed away at her residence on Friday, May 3, 2013, after a nine-month battle with cancer.
Mary Kay was born in Norway on Jan. 10, 1947, the daughter of the late Miles and Norma (Butler) Finnegan. She was united in marriage to James J. Bodi on Sept. 4, 1969, in Racine, Wis. He preceded her in death in September 2001.
Mary Kay found great enjoyment in needlepoint, frequenting casinos, and was always up for a good game of cribbage.
Mary Kay is survived by her two sons, Wade (Lorie) Bodi and Terry Bodi; granddaughters, Ashley and Lauren Bodi, all of Racine. She is further survived by her brother, Michael Finnegan of Florence, Wis.; 11 nieces and nephews; along with other relatives, co-workers, many dear friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held at the Sturino Funeral Home, 3014 Northwestern Ave. in Racine on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m.
Mary Kay will be reunited with with her husband at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove in a private ceremony.
