GOODMAN, Wis. – Sharon A. Ronan, 74, of Goodman, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 5, 1938, in Goodman, daughter of the late Arnold and Dorothy (Jacobson) Kitzman. At age three, Sharon moved with her family to Chicago where she grew up and attended school.
Sharon married Charles Ronan in 1956 in Chicago. After being married, they resided in Montgomery, Ala., Rantoul, Ill., and many other places as she traveled extensively with her husband Charles while he served in the United States Air Force. In 1994, they moved back to Goodman.
She was a good homemaker and enjoyed watching television and spending time with family and friends.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Charles; one son, Larry (Sue) Ronan of Newport News, Va.; two daughters, Patricia and Linda Ronan, both of Goodman; four grandchildren, David (Katie) Ronan, Jonathan Ronan, Nicole (Mathew) Dressler, and Christine Ronan; and two great-grandchildren, Alana and Melody.
Private family graveside services will be held. Burial will be held in Glenwood Cemetery in Goodman.
