IRON MOUNTAIN – The public is invited for dinner and an evening of fun and relaxation at the annual Spring Fashion and Dinner Show sponsored by Friends of the Museum.

This special occasion will take place at the Pine Mountain Lodge in Iron Mountain on Thursday, May 9, in the Alpine Room. Doors open at 5 p.m. with cocktails available. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m.

Cost per plate is $15. The menu includes Cornish hen with rice stuffing, mashed potatoes, salad, roll, dessert and coffee. In addition, a chocolate treat will be provided by The Front Porch in Iron Mountain.

A style show presented by Perina’s, following dinner, will feature the latest in new spring and summer fashions.

The door prize, a hanging outdoor plant, will be donated by Dale Alessandrini of Grandma’s Garden.

Each person attending will receive a $10 coupon from Perina’s to be used on any full-priced item in the store, but not including those on the $10/$20 sale rack.

Five free $25 cash drawings, a drawing and the sale of collectibles, glider/military museum license plates and Rada Knives will complete the show.

Tickets may be purchased at Perina’s or Grayson and Co. Jewelers (former Michael’s Fine Jewelry), both on Stephenson Avenue or by calling Jan at 774-5212 to have your ticket held at the door. Reservations are due by Friday, May 3.

This event is a fund-raiser to support the World War II Glider and Military Museum.
