OSHKOSH, Wis. – Loretta L. “Pearl” Nourse, 66, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday morning, April 23, 2013, at her home.
Born on Sept. 18, 1946, in Stambaugh, she was the daughter of Ralph and Arizona (Fugate) Boodry, Loretta married Eugene Lemerande in Crandon, Wis., and he preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 1984.
Loretta married James Nourse in Oshkosh on June 29, 1985.
Employed as an office assistant for 16 years at Miles Kimball Co., she later was employed at Oshkosh Coil Spring for 10 years before her retirement.
She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, a 20-year member and past president of American Legion Auxiliary, and was a bingo helper at the American Legion Post. Loretta enjoyed time spent with family, knitting, sewing, cooking, and traveling.
Left to mourn her passing is her husband, James Nourse of Oshkosh; a son, Dennis Lemerande of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Michael Lemerande of Oshkosh, Rebecca Lemerande of Oshkosh, Shane Lemerande of Greenwood, Ind.; a great-grandson, Carter Lemerande; siblings, Ralph “Butch” (Sharon) Boodry of Tipler, Wis., and Lorie (Rick Sledge) Boodry of Tipler; a brother-in-law, Jim Ritchie of Tipler; several nieces and nephews; and her faithful dog, Ebony.
Preceding Loretta in death are her parents; a daughter, Rebecca Lemerande; and a sister, Linda Ritchie.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Seefeld Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon St. in Oshkosh with Reverend Andi Wolf officiating.
Interment will be at Martin Cemetery in Tipler, Wis.
A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
