Wakefield man arrested for CSC

WAKEFIELD – A Wakefield man has been arrested on multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct.

Troopers from the Wakefield post of the Michigan State Police said that they served an arrest warrant on the man Monday for three counts of criminal sexual conduct-fourth degree and one count of accosting children for immoral purposes.

If convicted on all counts, he could face a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.

The man was arrested without incident and lodged at the Gogebic County Jail on a $60,000 bond at 10 percent, said troopers.

The man’s name is being withheld pending arraignment.
