CRYSTAL FALLS – Bradley Amos Dishaw found peace on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Bradley, 51, was born on Nov. 10, 1961, in Crystal Falls, the fifth child of Glenn and Verna (McGregor) Dishaw. He graduated from North Dickinson High School in 1978. After graduation, he worked in the lumber industry and spent many years with the Khoury Company in Sagola. Brad loved snowmobile racing and his trophies could be seen all around his home. He was also very good at karaoke and enjoyed performing. Brad had a quick wit and could always make people laugh.
Brad leaves behind the joy of his life, his daughter, Kaytee. He also leaves his mother, Verna; a brother, Duane (Elaine); a sister, Karen (Keith) Rust; a sister-in-law, Pat Dishaw; very special friend and former wife, Jackie Meyers; aunt, Jeannette Stachura; uncle, Floyd Van Oss; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn; a brother, Neil; infant brother, Lyle; maternal grandparents, Dan and Laura McGregor; and paternal grandparents, Amos and Grace Dishaw.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Grace Presbyterian Church in Sagola. A memorial service will follow Saturday at 11 a.m. at the church. Rev. David Anderson will officiate.
Burial will be at the Channing Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Grace Presbyterian Church in Brad’s name would be appreciated.
