Stress the economy

This is a vote to Gov. Snyder:

Dear Governor,

If Michigan has the fifth highest gas tax in the U.S. – why don’t we have the fifth best roads in the U.S.? Could it be that most of the monies collected are used for other projects?

Your $1.2 billion road proposal comes at a really bad time. You may have noticed the economy in Michigan is not booming. Adding 14 cents a gallon to the gas tax and $120 to vehicle registration would further stress the economy and Michigan families.

Maybe raising the sales tax 1 or 2 cents and using it for roads would be less stressful and equal.

By the way I’ll be writing my representative (McBroom) to oppose your proposed gas tax and registration increases.

Do you think that will do any good?
