CRYSTAL FALLS – An Iron River man accused of criminal sexual conduct with victims under the age of 13 is now facing more charges.
Dennis Alan Johnson, 54, was originally charged with two felony counts of criminal sexual conduct-first degree and three felony counts of criminal sexual conduct-second degree.
During a re-arraignment Monday in Iron County Trial Court, Johnson was charged with those counts and four additional counts: one felony count of criminal sexual contact-second degree and three felony counts of criminal sexual contact-third degree.
The additional charges reflect alleged crimes against a third victim that were not included in the original case.
Johnson will have a preliminary examination on all charges on April 15.
He is currently being held at the Iron County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
According to the criminal complaint in the case, Johnson is accused of having sexual contact with three different female victims under the age of 13. The alleged incidents occurred in Iron River between 2006 and 2010.
If convicted on the first degree charges, Johnson must spend between 25 years to life in prison. The second and third degree charges carry a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
