Budget mess again

Why does the U.S. find itself in such an ongoing budget mess again? In the summer of 2011 Speaker of the House, John Boehner and president Obama almost came to an agreement to allow for an increase in the federal debt limit.

It fell apart at the last minute because Obama demanded an extra $400 billion in new tax revenue – 50 percent more than they had shaken hands on just days before.

After just getting a tax increase at the end of 2012 this president wants even more tax revenues to support the budget crisis he created. He just got $800 billion from high earners with no spending cuts.

Only in America could rich people who pay 86 percent of all income taxes be accused of not paying their “fair share” by people who don’t pay any income taxes at all. He also got higher taxes via ObamaCare and continues to waste our money recklessly.

His administration is still paying people to play videogames, giving folks free cell phones and buying $47,000 cigarette smoking machines. Obama invented the “sequester” in the summer of 2011 to avoid facing up to America’s spending problem and under his faulty leadership his administration continues to spend money it doesn’t have.

His government collects more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, spending a trillion dollars more than it has per year – for total spending of $7 million per minute, and complain that it doesn’t have nearly enough money.

The Wall Street Journal states “The reality is that ObamaCare remains deeply unpopular with the public and it will only get worse next year when individuals and small businesses are forced to buy coverage that is 20 percent to 30 percent more expensive than what they have. Some younger people will see premium shocks as high as 150 or 200 percent. ObamaCare is so convoluted and the Health and Human Services is so incompetent that the entitlement may implode on the Launchpad.”

The Heritage Foundation in their Feb. 1st letter had a paragraph about our president. “While the Michigan state legislature was considering a right to work law Obama went to a auto plant in the state and held a campaign-style rally against it. He told workers that their right to bargain for better wages was being taken away – completely false statement.”

Many people believe what liberals and their mouthpieces in the national media are telling them. Depending on Obama’s government is not positive for a strong America.

A tsunami of phony regulations that are nothing but a grab for more revenue so Obama and Democrats can keep spending.
