KINGSFORD – Frances M. Bolander-Ouradnik, 85, of Kingsford, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility.
Frances was born March 25, 1927, in Stambaugh, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Olson) Lear. She was a 1945 graduate of Kingsford High School and has been a resident of this area her entire life.
Frances worked for many years as a dietary aide at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.
Frances enjoyed going to camp and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Bolander; her second husband, James Ouradnik; a brother, Merrill Lear; and son-in-law, Marvin Vigo Jr.
She is survived by her children, David (Ann) Bolander of Kingsford, Mark (Luann) Bolander of Iron Mountain, and Janice Vigo of Green Bay, Wis.; grandchildren, Dylan Bolander of San Antonio, Texas, Julee Beyer of Fond du Lac, Wis., Amanda Vigo of Green Bay, and Tina Cornelia of Negaunee; great-grandchildren, Cole, Dustin, Dakota, Cassie, Harland Jr., Devyn, Dylan and Tyler. She was also survived by her stepchildren, Lyn (Brian) Smith, Terry (Peggy) Ouradnik, Kathy (Rodney) Charette and Jim Ouradnik; and six step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home. Rev. Lori Liverance officiated.
Burial was in the Quinnesec Cemetery.
