Angeline May Dillon

REPUBLIC TOWNSHIP – Angeline May Dillon, 85, of State Highway M-95, Republic Township, died at her home Thursday evening, Feb. 21, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.

Angeline was born Aug. 31, 1927 in Three Rivers to Robert and Dorothy (Creitbaum) Blum and attended Three Rivers Schools.

Following high school she worked at an aircraft production plant in California during World War II.

Angeline married Eugene E. Dillon and they lived in Elkhart, Ind., before moving to the Witch Lake area in 1952.

Mrs. Dillon was a member of the First Baptist Church of Witch Lake. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Eugene E. Dillon; three sons, Paul (Lois) Dillon of Iron Mountain, Charles (Christy) Dillon of Witch Lake, and Larry (Holly) Dillon of Germantown, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Angeline was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sandra Dricken; three brothers, Robert, Earl and Paul Blum; and a sister, Patricia Ringuette.

Private family services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Witch Lake with Rev. Steve Beerg officiating.

Burial will take place at Northland Chapel Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the First Baptist Church of Witch Lake in Mrs. Dillon’s memory.
