Frances M. Bolander-Ouradnik
KINGSFORD – Frances M. Bolander-Ouradnik, 85, of Kingsford, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at Iron County Medical Care Facility.
Frances was born March 25, 1927, in Stambaugh, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Olson) Lear. She was a 1945 graduate of Kingsford High School and has been a resident of this area her entire life.
Frances worked for many years as a dietary aide at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1987.
She was a member of Our Saviours Lutheran Church.
Frances enjoyed going to camp and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Bolander; her second husband, James Ouradnik; a brother, Merrill Lear; and a son-in-law, Marvin Vigo Jr.
She is survived by her children, David (Ann) Bolander of Kingsford, Mark (Luann) Bolander of Iron Mountain, and Janice Vigo of Green Bay, Wis.; grandchildren, Dylan Bolander of San Antonio, Texas, Julee (William) Beyer of Fond du Lac, Wis., and Amanda Vigo of Green Bay; great-grandchildren, Cole, Dustin, Dakota, Cassie and Harland Jr. She is also survived by her step-children, Lyn (Brian) Smith, Terry (Peggy) Ouradnik, Kathy (Rodney) Charette and Jim Ouradnik; and six step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.
Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Rev. Lori Liverance will officiate.
Burial will be in the Quinnesec Cemetery.
