Iron River man faces CSC charges
CRYSTAL FALLS – An Iron River man has been charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct that stem from incidents that occurred over of period of four years.
Dennis Alan Johnson, 54, faces two felony counts of criminal sexual conduct-first degree and three felony counts of criminal sexual conduct-second degree.
If convicted on the first degree charges, he must serve a mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years in prison. The maximum sentence is life.
If convicted on the second degree charges, he could spend up to 15 years in prison.
A preliminary examination in Iron County Trial Court has been scheduled for March 4.
Johnson remains incarcerated at the Iron County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond.
According to the criminal complaint in the case, Johnson is accused of having sexual contact with three different female victims under the age of 13. The alleged incidents occurred between 2006 and 2010 in Iron River.
