St. Norbert announces Dean’s List
IRON MOUNTAIN – The following students have been named to the fall semester 2012 Dean’s List at St. Norbert College.
A minimum 3.5 grade point average is required for academic eligibility.

Marian University has announced the names of students whose fall-semester academic standing has qualified them for Marian’s Dean’s List. The Dean’s List is published two times a year with the names of all full-time students who have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average.
Local student is Kelsey Westcott of Vulcan.
The University of Wisconsin-Marinette has announced the Dean’s List for the fall, 2012 semester. All of the students on the Dean’s List have obtained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for their fall semester classes.
Highest Honors for grade point averages of 4.0 (straight A):
Crivitz, Wis. – Dawn Golla;
Wausaukee, Wis. – Susan Peterson;
High Honors for grade point averages of 3.75 or higher:
Crivitz, Wis. – Jolene Bublitz.
Honors for grade point averages of 3.5 or higher
Crivitz, Wis. – Christopher Weber.
Western Michigan University has announced its fall 2012 Dean’s List for the 2012-13 academic year.
To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average (on a scale of 4.0 being all A’s) in at least 12 hours of graded class work.
Iron Mountain – Natasha Khor, Kathryn Kick, and Sophie Smith.
East Tennessee State University conferred some 1,400 degrees in two fall commencement ceremonies.
Local student amongst those include Mary K. Holsworth of Iron?Mountain, MSAH allied health.
Kevin Gravel of Kingsford was named to St. Cloud State University’s fall semester Dean’s List.
He attends the Herberger Business School in finance.
To be eligible for the honor, students must have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Derek Saxon, a sophomore chemistry major, has been named to the Dean’s List at Ripon College for the fall 2012 semester, which recognizes academic excellence.
Saxon is the son of Linda M. Saxon of Iron Mountain.
To qualify for the Dean’s List at Ripon College, students must achieve a 3.40 grade point average or higher on a 4.00 scale and complete at least 12 credits of regular letter-graded work.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized students named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester of the 2012-13 academic year. Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own GPA requirements for students to be eligible to receive the honor.

Stephanie Rock, a sophomore from Niagara, was among more than 310 students named to the Lakeland College Dean’s List for academic achievement for the 2012 fall semester.
To earn recognition on the Dean’s List, undergraduate students must carry a full-time load of at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.5 grade point average.
Rock, the daughter of David and Karen Rock, is majoring in business/criminal justice.
Jennifer O’Keefe of Kingsford graduated in December from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine with a bachelor of science in nursing.
Ana Beaudoin, a resident of Kingsford, was among the top students at the University of Detroit Mercy who made the fall Dean’s List. Beaudoin is pursuing a degree from the College of Business Administration at the University of Detroit Mercy.
The Dean’s List is recognition of academic excellence granted to those students who achieve a GPA of 3.50 or better during a semester.
