IM woman enters not guilty plea

FLORENCE, Wis. – An Iron Mountain woman charged in a reckless endangerment complaint in Aurora, Wis. has pleaded not guilty to several felony and misdemeanor counts.
Valerie M. Edwards, 24, will return to Florence County Court for a pre-trial on March 19.
Edwards faces two felony counts of recklessly endangering safety-second degree, one misdemeanor count of battery, one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana, and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
If convicted on all counts, she could spend up to 20 years in prison.
According to the criminal complaint in the case, two women claimed that they were talking to a man at an Aurora bar in the early morning hours of New Year’s Day when Edwards attacked one of them.
The women stated that when they left the bar, Edwards came after them in a vehicle and almost hit them.
