Schedule change for ski jumps
IRON MOUNTAIN – The schedule for 2013 Bellin Health Pine Mountain Continental Cup International Ski Jumping Competition at Pine Mountain has been altered because of the weather.
Susie Fox of the Kiwanis Ski Club said that this year’s event will feature three rounds of competition, instead of the usual two rounds.
The new schedule calls for jumping to begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday with a trial round.
The first round of competition will then begin at 10 a.m. Saturday. There are two rounds of jumping in each competition.
The second competition will be being at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, again with two rounds of jumping.
Sunday’s schedule calls for a trial round at 11 a.m. with opening ceremonies at 12:15 p.m.
The final competition is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, again with two rounds of jumping.
