NORWAY – Nada O. Larson, 92, of Norway, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain.
She was born in Rhinelander, Wis. on March 7, 1920, daughter of the late Lempha and Clara (Gaehler) Munday.
Nada married Fred Larson on June 30, 1938, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 2000.
Fred and Nada owned a beef and dairy farm on Pearney Lane in Norway for many years. She was a 4-H Leader and enjoyed sewing with the special education kids for more tha 20 years with her friend Ruth Hayes. She also enjoyed fishing in Canada with Fred.
Nada is a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Norway.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Kathleen (Mike) Main of Norway; and many nieces and nephews.
Nada was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Gardner; infant granddaughter, Karen Ann Gardner; five brothers and sisters; and one half-sister.
Family will greet friends on Tuesday, Feb. 12 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Norway.
A memorial service will follow Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the church with Rev. Dr. Michael J. Langlais officiating.
