God’s word cannot be changed

This is in response to the letter, “Thee anvil still remains.”

In this letter the Rev. Michael Langlais is pointing out that the Bible, the Word of God stands forever. He also pointed out that the scriptures cannot be broken. I must say, I have been waiting for a letter like this for a long time. I have been saying the same thing in my letters that God’s word is for all generations, from now until the lord returns at the second coming. In fact, Jesus said in Matthew 5:18 “for verily I say unto you, till the heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law (Ten Commandments).”

The term “one jot” is the same as the dotting of an i. The term tittle is the same as the crossing of the T. I am really glad he pointed out to all of us that the word of God, the Bible does not change, ever.

Nothing God or Jesus ever uttered will ever change. Now, given that truth let us look at Genesis 2:2-3, this is during the creation period when God had finished with his work of creation. He had just finished the six days of creation, and it was the seventh day.

It says, “and on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work. And God blessed the Seventh Day, and sanctified it.”

It is God who blessed the seventh day, and made it holy. Please, understand, there were no Jews alive at this time. God made the Seventh day for man, not for the Jews.

The only people alive at this time are Adam and Eve. Then when God used Moses to lead the people out of Egypt after 400 years of slavery. God gave Moses and the people the Ten Commandments. In the commandments was the Fourth Commandment. The Fourth Commandment read like this, “Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy, the Seventh Day is the Sabbath of the Lord.”

This is all in Exodus 20:1-17, and God now called the Seventh Day the Sabbath, and again he said that he blessed that day and hallowed it, verse 11. Now let’s go back to what this letter said, the Word of God, the Bible is “unchangeable,” and stands “forever.”

Does he really believe this, here is the true test. God said in the Bible that the Seventh Day sabbath was forever, for all generations, and it was a “sign” between him and us for all generations. God gave us the Seventh Day Sabbath, and even put it in his Ten Commandments.

Now, why do majority of Christians not keep God’s Seventh Day Sabbath, Saturday?

And the Sabbath is Saturday, look it up in the dictionary, look up each day of the week. Look up Sunday, it is the “first” day of the week, which makes Saturday, the Seventh day of the week, the sabbath.

Now, if this letter really believes that the Bible cannot be changed, and stands forever as it says, why have God’s Ten Commandments been changed?

If you do not think they have been changed, look at the Ten Commandments that God gave us, then look at the Ten Commandments that your church uses. They are changed. Why, by who’s authority?

In God’s true Ten Commandments in Exodus 20 the Fourth Commandment is completely omitted, why? People, this is important, your eternal destiny is hanging on what you believe here. The Second Commandment is also omitted, why?

Take the time to look at the Ten Commandments your church used, then read the True Commandments of Exodus that God gave us. You will be shocked to see how you have been deceived, and you should be angry.

This letter says God’s word cannot be changed and stands forever, I believe that, but author does not know what he is talking about, he is deceived.

I am not injecting my thoughts here, or my beliefs, these are the teachings of the Bible, read them and see for yourself, then tell me if I am wrong.

If the Bible says what I say concerning the Seventh Day Sabbath, and the changed Ten Commandments, then you better do something about it.

The early church kept the Seventh Day Sabbath, Jesus said he is “Lord of the Sabbath.”

Jesus kept the Sabbath when he was here on earth. All the disciples kept the Sabbath all through the New Testament. Read the book of acts, you will see that they kept the sabbath all the way through.

So, when did the Sabbath change come and people start worshipping God on Sunday, the first day of the week, instead of the sabbath (Saturday). I have studied this for 25 years, and I tell you the sabbath, the true day or worship was changed during 325 AD by the Roman Emperor, Constantine.

Look it up, type in “Roman Emperor” on Google, it will tell you of the sabbath change from Saturday, the Seventh Day of the week, to Sunday the first day of the week.

Constantine wanted to bring his empire together, the Pagan part of it and the Christian part of it. He accepted Christianity as the “official” religion of Rome.

He did not care about Christianity, he only wanted to unite his Roman Kingdom. The Sabbath was kept until 325 AD. And please, do not tell me that the Christians started worshipping God on the first day of the week Sunday right after Jesus ascended to heaven. No that is a lie Satan wants you to believe.

Remember, Jesus said Satan is here to deceive us, this is how he does it.

Constantine issued an edict making Sunday the civil day of rest, not the sabbath.

Then in 365 AD the council of Laodicea was called to settle the Sabbath issue. The most famous Cannon came out of that council, the 29th.

And that Cannon reads, “Christians must not Judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honoring the 1st day of the week Sunday, resting then as Christians.”

Then in 400 AD, Augustine declared, “the holy doctors of the church (not the Bible, but mere men) decree that all the glory of the Seventh Day Sabbath be transferred to the first day of the week, Sunday, and let us keep Sunday as the ancients were commanded to keep the Sabbath.”

If this pastor was right in saying that the Bible, the word of God cannot be changed, why does he not keep God’s Holy Day, the Seventh Day Sabbath? Is he going along with the change to God’s holy day, the Seventh Day Sabbath, and the change of God’s True Ten Commandments.

Study this carefully, and seek the truth for yourself, then follow that truth. One other verse I want you to read, it is in Isaiah 66:22-23. This is speaking of heaven after Jesus comes again the second time and it says that in heaven we will all come to worship before God on the sabbath.

Last, in Revelation 12:17, this is the last day people just before the second coming of Jesus, and it says, “satan will make war against those who obey God’s commandments, and hold to the testimony of Jesus.”

The Ten Commandments here are the same as the ones God gave Moses, not the changed commandments of man, and the testimony of Jesus, is the Bible. Remember, this letter said God’s word cannot be changed, this is all very important for salvation.

Truth, is unchanging, and Jesus said, when you know the truth, the truth will set you free. Truth is necessary for salvation. Read 2 Thessalonians 2:10-11, it says that “those who are perishing, they refuse to love the truth so as to be saved.”

Yes, it is not just important to believe the truth, you must love the truth, or you will not be saved.
