MISHICOT, Wis. – Florence, with three wrestlers posting 5-0 records, finished sixth out of eight teams Saturday in the Mishicot Duals.

The Bobcats defeated Plymouth, 42-18, and another squad of extra wrestlers, 48-12. They lost to Winneconne, 40-39, on a tie-breaker, plus Oostburg, 64-15, and Mishicot, 48-30.

“All in all not a bad day with this wrestling area producing many state qualifiers and tough competition,” Florence Coach Jerry Paulson said.

Florence’s Danny Jones (106, 1 pin), Cole Dollar (170, 2 pins) and Tommy Lindow (220, 2 pins) went undefeated with 5-0 marks. They currently lead the Bobcats with season records of 15-3, 17-2 and 16-4 records, resectively.

“Cole had a few very tough matches and is really starting to turn it on.,” Paulson said.

Lindow is on a 10-match winning streak, with six pins in that span.

Florence’s Jennifer Goeman (113) and Garrett Gollakner posted 4-1 records; Shawn Paulson (120), 3-2, and Anthony Kligis (152), 2-3.

“Andrew Kelley (126, 1 pin) and Chris Jeffords (138, 1 pin) had tough matches all day (in going 1-4),” Paulson said.
